What to Expect
This is more than just learning routines — you’ll be part of building a full stage production from the ground up.
Over several months, you will:
Train regularly in guided sessions
Learn choreography, formations, and performance skills
Rehearse as a group towards a final show
Step onto the stage and perform together
It takes commitment — but the experience of performing makes it completely worth it.
Who can join?
Open to anyone ready to commit and perform on stage.
No professional experience needed — just the willingness to learn, show up, and work as part of a group.
If you enjoy Indian dance and want to challenge yourself, you’ll fit right in.
Ages
18 and upwards
Rehearsals
Rehearsals start from 14th September and build towards the final performance in November.
Rehearsal days: One primary session per week (2 hours), plus one Saturday session every three weeks. You can choose Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday as your primary rehearsal day. Sessions are held in the evening, starting at 19:00.
Focus: choreography, formations, performance
Location: Rotterdam
Additional sessions in Den Haag (depending on the group)
Pricing
To be part of MAGIC 2026, dancers join through a production-style structure:
€235 for the full period (September-November)
This covers the classes and practices (minimum 25 sessions)
After you sign up
You’ll be invited to an introduction session in September 2026, where the full group meets for the first time.
We’ll visit the performance venue, connect as a group, and start shaping the production — from story to music selection.

Yes. Beginners are welcome.
You’ll train over several months to build confidence and prepare for the stage.

Rehearsals are primarily in Rotterdam.
Depending on the group, additional sessions may take place in Den Haag.

You’re joining a structured rehearsal process leading to a full stage performance.
You’ll train regularly, learn choreography, and perform as part of a group.

Sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will be assigned to one of these days, which will be your regular rehearsal day each week. In addition, every three weeks, there will be a rehearsal session on Saturday.

Costumes are developed together once the choreography and music are finalized.

The price includes all rehearsals and production preparation.
Costumes are not included.

You don’t need to attend every session.
You’ll rehearse with your assigned group, typically 1–2 times per week. If you miss a learning session, you can follow up using the rehearsal video.
